About

Hello, my name is Peadar Kelleher.

Although most of you probably know that already, this travel/photo blog thing is mainly just for my friends and family to keep track of me during my moto shenanigans from Oakland to New York and Cape Town to Dublin, 2019. It’s easier to share this way as I don’t have Facepage or Instamalarkey. But if you arrived here by accident due to mis googling Kraftwerk’s seminal 1977 album Trans Europe Express then that’s ok too. Have a read. But I would suggest you improve your googling skills.

And if my friends, family and mis googles don’t bother to read this then I guess this is for Peadar 40 years from now to reminisce on moto times past. Hello 78 year old Peadar. I hope you are well. I hope you exist! Are you still paying the monthly subscription to Squarespace to keep this website alive? Does the internet still exist after the zombie apocalypse 2026?

Joining me on the trip is Iva. I will meet up with her somewhere along the way, either in Missouri where she resides, Philadelphia or New York. The future is uncertain (apart from zombie apocalypse 2026, that’s a definite) Iva is an expert on what I’m doing wrong, which is a skill that will no doubt prove itself to be quite useful on a Trans Continental Motorbike Adventure.

Of course I would not be able to do any of this if my business partners had not allowed me to piss off for six months. Although I reckon some of them are secretly delighted. I’m not around to pester them, smiley winky face. But I’d especially like to thank Keith for letting me take a break from my main job at Shannon Moving, I hope to return the favor soon.
